Financial Discipline Program

Building sustainable money habits doesn't happen overnight. Our year-long program walks you through the foundations of personal finance, from tracking daily expenses to understanding investment basics. We've designed this for people who know they should be better with money but aren't sure where to start.

12 Months of structured learning

What You'll Actually Learn

Each module builds on the previous one. You'll spend about three hours per week on coursework, but the real work happens when you apply these concepts to your own finances. We've kept theory to a minimum because most people learn better by doing.

1

Money Awareness Basics

Track where your money goes for 30 days. Set up a simple system that doesn't require hours of data entry. Most participants find at least three expenses they'd forgotten about.

2

Building Your Budget Framework

Create a budget that matches your actual life, not some ideal version. We'll show you how to plan for irregular expenses and handle months when income varies.

3

Debt Management Strategies

Understand the real cost of different debts. Learn which to tackle first and how to negotiate better terms. We cover credit cards, personal loans, and home loans specific to Australian financial systems.

4

Emergency Funds and Safety Nets

Build a buffer between you and financial stress. Calculate how much you need based on your situation, then create a realistic plan to get there over six to twelve months.

5

Superannuation and Tax Planning

Make sense of your super statements and understand how small changes now can affect your retirement. Learn basic tax strategies that might save you money without requiring an accountant.

6

Investment Fundamentals

Introduction to shares, ETFs, and property investment. We focus on understanding risk and matching investments to your goals rather than chasing quick returns.
